Terminator: Dark Fate

Terminator: Dark Fate, 5.6/10, is the follow on from Terminator 2: Judgment Day and sees the return of Sarah Connor. This time, Connor and a cyborg human hybrid (who has been sent back from the future) must protect a young girl from a newly modified Terminator.

Dark Fate is frequently bad in a funny and entertaining way. Hamilton and Schwarzenegger end up chewing the scenery for the majority of their screen time. However refreshing it is to see three strong female leads, that doesn’t make up for many questionable plot holes. As a blockbuster action movie, this will appeal to the masses but for me, not so much. Lacking imagination to move the franchise on from the previous instalments, Terminator: Dark Fate is purely a money maker.
