Zombieland: Double Tap

Zombieland: Double Tap, 7.1/10, brings Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock back to the big screen a decade on since the first brilliantly hilarious Zombie flick and its well-known list of rules to survive in the apocalypse. Double Tap returns with the same gang who have established life in the White House. The dynamics of their relationships have changed. When Little Rock runs away with a hippy, they are forced back on the road to hunt her down. Along the way, they meet new friends and find out their enemy are becoming far more advanced as they adapt over time.

The story line is probably the weakest aspect of the film but that is easily overlooked as it is just a back drop to the knock out humour. Seeing these characters again felt nostalgic as if being reunited with an old friend and I laughed throughout the run time. I had a great sense of trepidation for Double Tap as it is one of those sequels that could been make or break but the creators have made a perfect follow on from the first instalment.
