Abominable, 6.7/10, is the lastest visually stunning and deeply moving creation from the same people who brought you the How to Train your Dragon franchise. They turn the mythical and magical into the somewhat believable for their younger audience members and some of their older companions.

When a Yeti turns up on Yi’s doorstep, she feels it is her purpose to take Everest home.

The premise feels repetitive on a surface level but what I watched, surprised me as they explored themes of getting through a bereavement, being a self proclaimed loner and swimming against the stream. This would be the perfect film to take your young ones to or if you don’t have young ones, go anyway! In this miserable weather, this film will warm you right to your core.
